It's already the end of May!!

May has flown by and we have kicked off our summer with an incredible Lock-In last week!

Here are a few things happening in June!

June 7th - "L4" - What is "L4"? Well, it stands for "Lord, Learning, Laughter, & Lunch". This will be a time for teens to come and have a lunch devotional up at church. Times are from 12:30pm-2:30pm. Bring $5 for lunch!

June 9th - GSM@ The Movies -We are going to Silver Screen for a movie. Bring $7 and $ for snacks. Meet at church at 6pm.

June 10th & 24th - This summer during Sunday nights, Gateway wants to highlight what is happening in the lives of our membership. We are doing this through as series called "God Story". It will be a fun night of worship and story telling. Our teenagers and families need to be involved in this, as you are a vital part of who Gateway is!

June 18-23rd - IMPACT - For those going, please make sure you pick up an Impact form from Sean that needs to be filled out ASAP

A few other items to know:

Camp applications will be available at the information desk and online here beginning June 3rd.

My office is always open! TEENS, if you just want to get out of the house on a boring day, please come hang out with Braxton and I.

After Wednesday & Sunday hang outs! On most Wednesday's and Sunday's in the Summer, we will be hanging out as a group, whether to get ice cream, play basketball, or watch a movie in the teen room. We would like to spend as much time together as possible. These things will be very spontaneous, so Parents, please bare with us as these things happen. We would always love for every teen to spend time together, but we know that isn't always possible, but we want to make as many opportunities as we can to be together!

Summer Is Almost Here!!!!

There are few things I want to put in your mind.

1. Teen Room Movie Night - May 11th from 6:30-10pm. We will have soda, snacks, & popcorn. (eat dinner before you come)

2. Senior Sunday - May 20th -  If you are a Junior, Parent of a Junior, a Graduating Senior, or parent of a graduate, then you need to know about our Senior Sunday. I have already mailed out information to all the above. If you didn't get it, let me know. Call or email me!

3. Summer Kickoff Lock-In - May 25-26th. We will begin the summer with an all-nighter. We are going to go to a Blue Wahoos game, then come back to building for games, possible a movie, and kick off our summer theme with worship. Plus our Summer Intern, Braxton will be here, so come hang out with him!

Here are the Details:

Times:  Be at Gateway 5:30 on Friday night. Pick/Leave 8:00 am Saturday morning

Cost: $15 for the evening. This will will pay for your Blue Wahoos game ticket & snacks/drinks at church. Also Bring money for dinner at the Wahoo stadium ($8-10 just in case).

Other Thing To Bring: Blanket for seating at the Wahoo game, Clothes & Shoes to play games in, pillow or blanket to lay around when the wee hours of the morning hit.

4. Parent/Teen Potluck Luncheon - May 27th - Just a lunch right after worship in the Gym to talk about the summer and keep you informed about everything happening. Everyone, plan on bringing some food to share!
