Mission: Road Trip 2010

July 5-10th

For this years Service Trip, we are taking a road trip to Nashville, Atlanta, Jacksonville, & Orlando. We will be doing various service work in each city as well as going to “Islands of Adventure” theme park in Orlando.

THIS TRIP IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO 23 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. 1ST COME 1ST SERVE. PAYMENT WILL HOLD YOUR SPOT!

  • Cost: $75 per Teen
  • Additional Money: You will pay for 8 Meals on the trip. 1 of those meals is at an Amusement park. So plan accordingly. You will also need money for travel snacks and any souvenirs you plan to purchase.
  • Times: Be at Church at 7 a.m. on Monday July 5th. We plan to be back home around 5-6 p.m. on the 10th.
  • What to bring: (PACK LIGHT) You will need work clothes for everyday, bring clothes for Wednesday night worship & an event with a youth group on Thursday, bring bedding (will will be sleeping on floors at churches, so bring what you need to be comfortable), toiletries, clothes for the theme park.

TOY STORY 3



















We are going to see Toy Story 3 this SATURDAY, June 19th.
Cost: $10 per ticket plus $ for your snacks
Time: Be at Gateway at 10:15 a.m. - We will be back @ 1:30 p.m.
BE SURE TO EAT A LATE BREAKFAST OR PLAN TO EAT AT THE MOVIE BECAUSE WE ARE NOT EATING LUNCH TOGETHER

Coming Up!











Guys & Girls Bible Studies

Join us this summer for Weekly Bible Study throughout the Summer!
The guys will be studying stories to both challenge and strength our faith. The girls will be talking about how God can use them to Change the World!
Both Bible Studies will meet in the Gym (in different classrooms) from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on various dates this summer.
The Bible Study Schedule is:

SUMMER KICKOFF

We are gonna kick the summer off with a bang THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 12th
Here is what you need to know:
When: June 12 1:30-7:30p.m.
(if you can't be there at 1:30 it is okay to be a little late)
Where: Meet @ the Gateway FLC (that is the Gym)
Cost: $3 to cover food
What to Bring: Yourself, A friend would be nice! Wear Clothes for Activites, Bring a bathing suit, towel, and other things for swimming. We are going to a BBQ/Pool Party

New 7th Graders are invited to this event! (so are parents)













CAMP 2010 "CALLED"

Camp applications are now available!!
Camp is available to all students entering the 3rd grade next school year through our graduated Seniors.
Camp is July 18-24th
Cost $95 per camper (deposit of $45, due as soon as you can get it in)













Senior High "Service Road Trip"

The details for our Road Trip this year are currently being planned. So there is not a lot of things to tell you about other than the dates. Spots are limited though to 22 High School Students
WHO: This trip is available for all High Schoolers
(Older Teens will get first priority to attend)
