Hello All,
Impact Spots are FILLED. Any additional add ons will be done at the full price of $210 per teen. I will be sending out paperwork soon that each teen and parent will need to fill out and get back to me. The remain balance will be do before we leave.
Senior Dinner & Sunday - For Jr. & Sr. Parents, each of you should have gotten a letter in the mail telling you all about that weekend. I have seen that the Jr. Parent’s have started an email to get the dinner planned. Great Job! Senior parents, if you have any questions, let me know. Please stick to the deadlines set for this event.
Camp registration will begin soon. Camp is July 14-20th this year. Cost will be $110 per camper. (They raised the price a bit, so we had to as well). Camp is available to all students going into 3rd grade - Graduates.
Summer Intern Housing - I am still looking for someone to house our Summer Intern. If you have a spare bedroom and would like free transportation for your teen all summer, this is for you. Trey, our intern will be here in a few weeks and I need to get a place secured. Thanks!
Summer Kick-off Lock-in - This will be May 31st. I am looking for HELP!!!! I know not many of you want to stay up all night, neither do I. But what I need is some shift workers, and someone to come in at 6 and cook breakfast. Start thinking about how you can help. If it’s from 10-12 or 12-4 or 6-8 during breakfast. Just be thinking about it, and let me know. Part of the event will include going to the Wahoos game that Friday night, so if you help early, you get a free baseball game! Woohoo!
Speaking of Summer. Our Full Summer calendar will be available once the intern arrives and he gets a chance to add his ideas and events in. It is going to be a great summer. Please be praying over it.
Final thing - Bayou La Batre Mission Trip Planning - For those teens going on that trip, we are rescheduling the Luncheon to raise funds. This weekend May 5th, had a few conflicts that were unseen. I dropped the ball on updating everyone about this, please forgive me. I am think June 9th or 30th. I also plan to get our other fundraising things together by the end of this month and get our teens working for their money.

I have encouraged our teens to have 100 people here, that means bringing 3-4 friends each. Please encourage your teen to do this.
- Note to Adults: I have already had some volunteer to help with the cooking, hot dogs, that evening. If you still want to help with that you can. Also, I need people who will “Man” each activity, as well as some who do crowd control, and building security. So think about where you can help and tell me if there is something specific you would like to do. I will have an official duty sign up the first week of April.
- Also I will need some help, from teens, the evening before to help prep our car bash and get other thing set up for the event.

have any questions. All of this info will be posted online as well.

Here is the latest
Let me mention first the "Spring Festivus" trip that was planned for March 1-3. After meeting and talking with our Student Leaders, we have decided that there just was not enough interest and availability to make the trip happen. What we have decided is that a more local and cost effective Retreat would better benefit our group right now. I will have a new date set soon and details as well.
Here are some things happening in March:
1. Renaissance Fair - March 2nd - Who doesn't love Ye Ole Jousting? We are gonna meet at 10 am at Gateway to go to the fairgrounds for this. It should be a lot of fun. Bring $10 to get in the fair and any money for souvenirs and lunch. We should be back around 2pm.
2. ECS Auction Volunteers - March 9th - We will help serve food at the annual ECS auction. Please be at Gateway at 4:30pm. Should be able to leave around 7-7:30pm. Please dress nice (white dress shirt and black pants/skirts are preferable). Dinner will be provided
3. Bayou La Batre Mission Meeting - March 13th - For HIGH SCHOOL teens and parents of teens who want to go on the summer mission trip, plan to meet in room 22 following classes that night
4. Best Night Ever - April 17th - This "Lawn Party" is quickly approaching. I want you to start thinking of how you can help. I will need all parents to make this a success. Watch your emails for me asking you what you can do to help.
5. "Broken" A Good Friday Event At Gateway - March 29th - Gateway will have a special worship event on Good Friday this year to set our hearts and minds for Worship on Easter Sunday. This will be a time of praise and reflection of the cross. Please make plans to join us.
6. "Passion" viewing - March 30th - To continue our Easter weekend, I would like to gather teens and parents, to watch "The Passion" together. This is a "R" rated movie, so permission slips will be necessary for teens whose parents do not join us.
